The Truth: I don’t have life “figured out.”
A few years ago, I was that burned-out mid-level healthcare provider trying to reach the Holy Grail of residency. If you could drink from the sacred chalice of formal training, you were set for life!
You know that feeling when your purpose starts to fade and you’re just going through the motions? Yeah, I was worse!
Career prospects weren’t going according to plan, and important personal relationships seemed to crash and burn.
I got to the point of experiencing heart palpitations and arrhythmias specifically while driving on interstate highways to reach patients and supposedly improve my resume to get my life back on track.
Usually, I could shake it off. But not this time. This time, I had to muster everything I had just to drive two more miles to find a hotel and hopefully sleep it off.
That night, I knew I needed to change something. I didn’t know what. The anxiety was clouding my judgment and insight. But I knew this wasn’t normal. I needed to reset. I needed to rebalance.
Here’s the thing: When you ignore the whispers and small hints from your body, it has to slap you in the face!
For a long time, I just went to work and went home. I had no interest in doing anything. But this job offered some level of normalcy and probably kept me out of major depression—although it was certainly diagnosable at the time anyway.
Then Qigong happened.
A close friend of mine had been practicing Qigong healing. Of course, he was on his own healing journey. He told me about the benefits he experienced.
I was already intrigued by energy medicine but I never had the time to explore the idea myself… until now.
This ancient practice didn’t just help me find balance—it began shifting how I saw health and healing. I began feeling more grounded. Anxiety and depression were slowly dissolving. I began the slow process of realignment with self and recalibration.
I started wondering: What if I have an opportunity to change direction completely and approach wellness in a new way? Can I guide others to their own realignment?
I found health and wellness coaching.
I trained as a health and wellness coach through the Mayo Clinic, and I discovered how to guide others toward meaningful change through relationships.
Sometimes, the best way to heal yourself is to help others.
What better way to heal myself than by helping others with the two major challenges I recently experienced!
These days, I’m bringing this philosophy into my role as a practice manager at a primary care clinic focused on preventative medicine. I’m all about making health more approachable and actionable.
Want to know the best part? This stuff actually works. I’ve seen it transform lives—including my own.
Through this blog, I’m sharing the tools and insights that helped me stay energized, focused, and grounded.
No fancy jargon, no impossible standards—just practical insights that actually fit into your real life.
Maybe you’re dealing with a chronic condition that’s got you stuck. Maybe you’ve hit a plateau and can’t figure out why. Or maybe you’re just tired of all the confusing health advice out there. Whatever brought you here, I get it.
Just remember: I’m here to help. But all that brilliant advice can’t come from me. I can only guide you back to your own brilliance.

Because here’s what I know for sure: When we strip away all the complexity and get back to what really matters, that’s where the magic happens.
Today, I am passionate about patient education. I help people find personalized solutions with 3 core tenets:
I truly believe the difficulties we face never exceed our abilities to face them.
Your journey to wellness can start with these essentials.
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” ~ Ben Franklin What do you get for that little ounce? Information, Knowledge, and a Plan. It’s a dense little ounce, but it’s less expensive in the long-term.
It’s not complicated, really! I feel paying attention to our nutrition would resolve at least half of today’s chronic diseases. Imagine a world free of high blood pressure, diabetes, alzheimers disease, allergies,
The mind and the body are united. So why do we pretend that they’re separate?
“Amen I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Arise, and hurl thyself into the sea,’ and does not waver in his heart, but believes that whatever he says will be done, it shall be done for him” ~ Mark 11:23
Every single person has a force that drives their existence. Do you want to be a better daughter/son, mother/father, wife/husband? The uniting factor of the human race is our desire to be better at establishing deeper connections with our loved ones. We are most fulfilled and happiest when we work towards being better versions of ourselves, for others.
We are manifestations of something greater than ourselves. Desire drives our hearts. Intention provides direction.
We all make decisions on a daily basis. 95% of them are not new decisions. They are repeated every single day. The result is a single decision whose effect will compound over time. So what decisions are you making on a daily basis? Do they help you be there for your loved ones?
